Context

* - The type of instrument, the acoustics of the hall, and the size and style of the ensemble are all major influence factors in a player’s choice of mallets.  The same factors can alter the perceived dynamic levels out in the hall.   Suggestions are based on my own professional experience but are not meant to override these important considerations.

N.B.

The ASP Professional Performance Wood Mallets are intended to be played on instruments with wooden bars. Using these mallets on a fiberglass keyboard will produce damage to the mallet heads much sooner than normal.
The hardness of my mallets' heads is carefully measured to offer reasonable durability when used as recommended, as well as a certain level of protection for the rosewood bars.

All mallets are hand-crafted using the best materials and first-hand knowledge of the highest professional demands.

Every pair is constructed using a most Precise Balancing System and is tested for consistency throughout the model.
